Sherif Bolbol has more than 15 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking and Financial Institutions; having worked for EFG-Hermes, Naeem Holding, CIB, Barclays Bank, and Ernst & Young. He has actively engaged in a number of high profile private equity/corporate finance transactions in the banking, financial, real estate, cement, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, infrastructure (port) and food & agri-sector, ranging from traditional buyouts to growth capital and project financing. Sherif was a member of the steering and debt funding committees of a consortium bidding for Egypt’s third mobile license that successfully raised US$1.5bn in debt commitments from banks. He was as a member of the board of directors of REACAP Holding, a LE1Bn listed real estate investment company as well as Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals, a leading Egyptian petrochemicals company with average profits exceeding LE1Bn. Prior to joining Paradigm Invest, he was the Country Leader of Ernst & Young Egypt Transaction Advisory Services. In this role, Sherif was responsible for the firm’s business valuation, financial due diligence, and M&A advisory services. Sherif is a CFA Charter Holder since 2004, and has completed the Private Equity and Venture Capital Programme at Oxford Business School. He teaches Advanced Corporate Finance, and Securities Industry & Capital Markets courses in the American University in Cairo (Management Center), Corporate Finance in the MBA program (Banking & Risk Management) of ESLSCA University as well as the “Cash Flow Lending” Module (Chase Model) in several banks’ credit courses.
